The Mashawir community is built on mutual respect and safety. These guidelines apply to all users of the platform, riders and drivers alike.
1. Mutual respect
- Treat others with kindness and respect regardless of any differences.
- Harassment, discrimination, abusive language and threatening behaviour are prohibited.
2. Road safety
- Drivers follow traffic rules, speed limits and seat-belt use.
- Handling the phone while driving is prohibited except via a phone mount.
- Riders should use seat belts and avoid distracting the driver.
3. Vehicle and cleanliness
- Drivers keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Riders avoid eating or smoking in the vehicle without permission and are responsible for any damage they cause.
4. Prohibited
- Transporting illegal or hazardous materials.
- Carrying weapons in the vehicle.
- Driving or riding under the influence of substances that endanger safety.
5. Privacy
- Do not share the other party's details or photos outside the app without their consent.
- Use in-app communication channels whenever possible.
6. Reporting
If you experience any violation, report it immediately through the app or our support team. We handle reports seriously and confidentially, and breaches of these guidelines may lead to account suspension or closure.
7. Emergencies
In immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then use the in-app emergency button to notify us.
